Ken & Karen Bates met while both were active duty Navy. They married in May 1998. Since then, their family has grown to include two cats, two dogs, one mortgage business and their biggest blessing yet...Elizabeth Marie Bates. (In loving memory of Carissa Faith Bates b/d 7/11/06.)

Better balance every day...
I was sure she was going to fall but she hung in there. She can walk pretty easily on grass now and is running around the house these days.
Ken & Karen reside in San Diego, California. They are parents, business owners and live far away from all family so they felt this was the best avenue to share their lives!
