Over a dozen wildfires across Southern California, forced the evacuation of thousands of residents. The evacuation comes almost four years to the day after the Cedar Fire of 2003. Fires burned in Malibu, Lake Arrowhead, Irvine, San Diego, and many other places. Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, declared a state of emergency in Los Angeles, Orange, Poway, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, Santa Barbara, and Ventura counties as a result. This is the worst case of wildfires Southern California has ever had.
Pray for all the people that have lost their homes.

Dear God,
Please keep the firefighters safe. Please keep the families, pets and homes safe. Please convince people that no house is worth their lives, and that they need to evacuate when asked. Please keep people off their cell phones so the firefighters can use the lines.

What a great country we live in with many great people!!
Do you know we had more supplies than necessary at our stadium and other evacuation centers? Not from the government, but from the people and businesses within our community. The outpouring of internal support was amazing!! It is great to see a community take care of each other in times such as these!
