Friends and fun...

What a week in San Diego! Thank you for all of your calls regarding the fires. We were very fortunate because both our home and our office were out of harm's way. The city has been great at pulling together and taking care of everyone too.
This week we couldn't get out much because of the fires. Chloe's birthday party at Sea World got cancelled but she had a great 2nd birthday party indoors!

Cloe & Elizabeth. Elizabeth looked adorable in her outfit from GrandMary. There were lots of older kids at the party but Elizabeth blended right in. Here she is playing with 3 year old twins, Hannah and Miriam.

Okay, I had to post this one. Her little legs are so cute and she is so unaware of being shy.

There were many toys and balloons to play with and yet....here is Elizabeth playing with the electric trash can. In her defense, it had BUTTONS!! She loves buttons.

I ordered her halloween outfit back in August and was so excited to finally see her in it. I even paid the extra $5 to have her name embroidered in her skirt. She got many compliments and had a great time at the "My Gym" halloween party. She loves to jump!

Her new words this week are "please", "nose" (& squeezing your nose), "amen" after prayers, "agua" and "mommy, mommy, mommy". Ken & I don't need the baby monitor on but we often leave it on so we can hear her sing herself to sleep and play in the mornings with all the stuffed animals she insists on having in her crib. Here is Elizabeth, hanging out with her dad and "talking" on her cell phone. She is pretty good at pretending to do this and loves to shout out "bye" when she hears me saying goodbye to people.
